
Amber Waves Fall Dahlia Dig: Community Day

Dig a dahlia for YOUR garden…From our farm to yours!
You will get to take home dahlia tubers to plant in your own garden. Come learn how to dig up your dahlia tubers, preparing them to be stored and proper storage so they can be planted next Spring!
Community volunteer action is an essential part of our education, conservation and stewardship programs. As a non-profit farm and education center, we are dedicated to building the world we want to see with our ever-growing community in our hearts. Together, let’s work towards our mission to provide rich educational opportunities in agriculture for aspiring growers, thoughtful cooks, and eaters of all ages.
Date & Time: Sunday, October 29th, 11:30am-1:30pm
Ages: Open to adults and teenagers
Cost: A $10 donation supports Amber Waves for supplies and staffing, turning your intention into impact.
Location: Please meet down on the brick patio.
What to bring: A water bottle, good closed toe shoes, clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty.
What to expect: You will be out in the fields helping our farm crew, the dig will be simple. You will be helping us get the farm ready for winter. Thanks for helping us continue to steward the land.
