Animal Kingdom! 3 Dimensional Design Workshops
This program will be in person at Clason’s Point Library. Mr. GUY, the son of Master Ben (featured on the Mister Rogers Neighborhood television program) is instructing all-inclusive workshops in the 3-Dimensional Design form known as “Gu-pit Gu-pit” (“cut-cut” in the Tagalog language of the Philippines). Originated by Master Ben, Gu-pit Gu-pit allows anyone to be inventive and resourceful with or without art experience, with no exclusions to imagination and creativity. Each comprehensive workshop in One-Piece Paper Sculpture focuses on fundamental geometric design concepts, with emphasis on animal forms such as the bat, the bunny, the snake, the shark, the elephant, the duck, and the whale; building self-esteem and practical skills with fantastic results immediately ready for display. Presented by Mr. Guy Gonzales.
