Bringing the Drama! Using Performance to Bring History to Life

Calling all teens! See a first-person performance about champion aviator Betty Skelton, the first woman to undergo the physical and psychological tests of NASA’s Mercury 7 astronauts! The teaching artist who created the performance will break down the process for interpreting historical people and events so attendees can give it a try! We will also visit the Women of the Space Shuttle Era exhibit in the Museum’s Space Shuttle Pavilion.

Teens/youth under the age of 16 must attend with an adult chaperone. We welcome all to bring their family and friends. The event is free with registration.
