Changing Minds Young Filmmaker Festival

Community Access, a New York City-based mental health nonprofit, proudly marks the 10th year of “Changing Minds.” On Saturday, May 17th from 7 to 9 p.m. at Village East by Angelika, the Changing Minds Young Filmmaker Festival will showcase ten inspiring, bold, and thought-provoking short films by young filmmakers. These talented creators—hailing from NYC and beyond—use film to confront the stigma surrounding mental health, exploring timely themes such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, gender identity, and more. The film screenings begin at 7 p.m. and will be followed by a special live panel discussion and audience Q&A with the filmmakers.
