Junior Keepers: Cats in the Americas

Step into the exciting world of big cats during this interactive program. Roll up your sleeves as we have up-close encounters with animal ambassadors, deliver a special treat to one of our exhibit animals, and learn the essential skills for taking care of these magnificent animals during this early-access program.

Ever wonder what it takes to be keeper? Get ready to put your animal skills to the test as you learn about the Queens Zoo’s residents through up-close animal encounters, behind-the-scenes looks with our animal care team, and hands-on activities. This is a drop off program. Participants will meet small ambassador animals during the program. Participants will not have direct contact with exhibit animals. For kids in 3rd-5th grade!
