Originally from Cardiff, Wales, Mace The Great is an exciting force of grime and hip-hop. In addition to winning a Triskel Award at the Welsh Music Prize 2020, he’s been gaining support from The Mobo’s, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Wales, BBC Sport, ITV, S4C and FOCUS Wales Festival. There is no doubt that Mace The Great‘s career is about to take off in a big way. With pride, he carries Cardiff on his shoulders and the community in his city reciprocates this love tenfold. After releasing his critically acclaimed EP My Side Of The Bridge in March 2021 via the MTGM label, he is fast building a solid foundation for global success. This was further solidified when Cardiff City FC used the EP’s headline track for the launch of their 21/22 kit. As we lead into 2023 the future is looking very exciting for the Welsh star as he plans on scheduling releases for his next batch of singles and music videos which will roll straight into his next highly anticipated EP ready for launch in the new year!

“That experimental energy is a really good sign for me. L E M F R E C K’s got real talent to offer us” Jack Saunders, BBC Radio 1.

L E M F R E C K is a Welsh artist, producer, and writer who excels at telling unique stories through music and self-directed visuals. As a gospel session artist who was named one of the ten ONES TO WATCH 2021 by BBC INTRODUCING, L E M F R E C K‘s early years shaped his production, influenced by Fred Hammond. It was a quick sell out for his debut headline show in Wales’ capital city Cardiff, which demonstrated the extent of his talents. The artist was able to impress crowds with a live band in a VR 360 space, establishing him as one of Wales’ top artists. He is often compared to artists like Sampha and Pa Salieu. With his grime background and trained musicianship, L E M F R E C K makes a great combination. L E M F R E C K has already been played on BBC Radio 1 several times without a label or radio plugger, including Jack Saunders’ Future Sounds. As L E M F R E C K receives the Horizons Gorwelion grant, releases a new project, and performs at the iconic BBC Maida Vale studios, expect big things in 2022.
