Join the Museum at Eldridge Street’s historic Main Sanctuary to celebrate executive director, Holocaust educator, media scholar, and author Dr. Maria Zalewska’s newest book, Honey Cake & Latkes: Recipes from the Old World by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Survivors (Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial Foundation 2022) with photographs by acclaimed photographer, Ellen Silverman. We are honored to also hear from Auschwitz-Birkenau survivor Michael Bornstein and his daughter, Debbie Bornstein Holinstat, whose recipes are featured in the book edited by Zalewska.
