LABOR: Upcoming Opening in Park Slope

Mother Creatrix Collective (MCC) is an open collective of artist-mothers working together to support each other’s artistic practices by creating exhibition opportunities. Labor is a group art show featuring the work of these artists that explores how the labor involved in both motherhood and artistry can intertwine to create a rich tapestry of experiences and how this experience may be translated visually. The exhibition is being held with the support of Spoke the Hub. A staple of the Park Slope community since 1979, Spoke the Hub Re:Creation Center is a non-profit multidisciplinary arts center offering classes, performances, and community events for all ages in Brooklyn, NY.
